Doppelbock literally means “double bock” and is traditionally one of the stronger lager beers brewed in Germany. This draft only beer is the "before" of our legendary Decapitator Barrel-aged Doppelbock.Dating to the eighteenth century it is often referred to as liquid bread or a meal in a glass because of the beers ability to sustain the monks who brewed it through times of fasting.
