Oktoberfest by Buoy Beer Co. is back in the Armory!

When: October 4, 2025 11am-6pm
Where: Astoria Armory 1636 Exchange St, Astoria, OR 97103
Admission: Admission is FREE.
Parking: Street parking.
Minors: All ages are welcome!

Qualifying Stein-ly Cup Rounds at 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm. Championship Round for Men’s and Women’s at 5pm

Music performances by Get Down Moses, Left On Tenth and Mr Vale’s Math Class and more!

Beer list includes Festbier, a collaboration with Threshold Brewing & Blending.

Food vendors include Gaetano’s Market & Deli, Frite & Scoop, and Nascent Bread.

Elbows Up!

Compete in the Stein-ly Cup Competition!

Qualifying Rounds 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm

Championship Rounds (top 2 winners from each round) at 5pm

THE PRIZES for the top 3 winners of the Championship round will win a Muntiki mug and $100 Buoy Beer gift card. The first place winner will also get a stein at the Taproom for year-round 64oz pours and their name on the Stein-ly Cup plaque.

The Rules

  • The stein must be filled to the 1L lip.
  • Must be gripped by the handle. Thumb must be touching other fingers.
  • Stein must be held out directly in front, no bending of the elbow.
  • Competitor’s shoulders should remain close to perpendicular with the arm and parallel to the floor.
  • The body of the competitor may not be angled back, right, or front considerably.
  • The off-hand should remain at the competitor’s side or back and may not touch or support the arm holding the stein.
  • Competitors may not contact any other structures, objects, or people during the competition.
  • Competitors must stand within their personal area.
  • No beer can spill or drip.
